A very frustrating, almost unbelievable night last night as the Wild had a 3-0 lead heading into the third period, when the Rangers came back and scored 5 goals in the 3rd to win the game 5-4!
Kuemper faced just 20 shots during the game and allowed 5 goals in the third period, finishing the game with a .750 SV%.
A busy schedule tonight, we have one play locked in so far.
If we see anything else we like we will send out another email shortly, if not this will be our only play of the day.

The Islanders are 6-2 on the season and are the highest scoring team in the NHL right now with an impressive 3.88 goals per game. The Jets offense is stale, ranked 28th overall scoring just 1.88 goals per game, making them one of just three teams currently scoring less than two goals per game. The other two clubs scoring less than two goals per game are Florida (1.43) and Buffalo (1.11). The Isles power play is 10th overall with a 23.3 PP%, while the Jets are 28th on the power play at a dismal 3.6%. The Winnipeg club is taking an average of 16 penalty minutes per game, compared to 12.2% by New York. Hopefully the lack of discipline by the Jets will allow the Islanders a few power play opportunities tonight. Note that the Jets have allowed a power play goal in four consecutive games. The Jets penalty kill is 88.2% overall, ranked 5th, while the Islanders currently have the second worst penalty kill at 70.4%. The Islanders are taking 12.2 penalty minutes per game. Jaroslav Halak is confirmed in goal for New York tonight and has gone 3-2 on the season with a 3.38 GAA and a .893 SV%. Ondrej Pavelec currently has a losing record of 3-4 and is probable for Winnipeg tonight. Pavelec currently has a 2.45 GAA and a .906 save percentage. The Islanders are 3-1 at Home while the Jets are 1-2 on the road. The hot Islanders offense should have no problem outscoring Winnipeg tonight, hopefully they can wrap things up in 60 minutes by allowing fewer goals than they have so far this season. Look for the Islanders to improve to 7-2 with a victory over the Jets tonight.
