Tonights NHL Picks February 12th 2015

The Canucks made it to overtime which gave us a winner as we had them +0.5 in regulation time, they even won the game 5-4 in overtime.
Our system pick on Detroit didn’t pan out as they fell to the Penguins by a score of 4-1.
1-1 overall last night, for a small profit of 0.12 units.
One pick locked in for tonight so far, we are getting sensational odds on Calgary tonight.
Some of the lines haven’t been released yet so if we add anything else we will send another email, if not then consider this the only pick for today.
Not sure if you are into MMA or not, but the guys at Draft Kings have invited our subscribers to a special $1000 MMA freeroll contest on Saturday if you are interested. They just added MMA as a sport about a month ago so they are celebrating with a $1000 freeroll. The top 225 finishes win money!
I haven’t checked out the MMA section at Draft Kings yet but there’s no better time to test the waters than with a free contest that pays real cash.
Calgary Flames @ Los Angeles Kings: FLAMES 2.40
Risk: 2 Units | Win: 2.80 Units
The fourth place Pacific Division Calgary Flames head to Los Angeles tonight to take on the fifth place Pacific Division Los Angeles Kings, we get another great price on Calgary tonight. The Flames continue to do a good job at scoring goals while they are also playing great defense, allowing just 2.20 goals against per game over their last ten games. The Flames have a road record of 15-10-1 this season (Kings are 16-6-3-3 at Home) and have won six of their last seven games on the road. Calgary won their last contest 4-1 over the San Jose Sharks as dogs, and will look for another win on the road against Los Angeles tonight. The Flames defeated the 2nd place (Pacific Division) Sharks twice across a five day span, outscoring San Jose 7-2. The Flames suffered a 4-0 shutout via the Pittsburgh Penguins between their meetings with San Jose but prior to that loss the Flames won three in a row, outscoring opponents 12 to 5. The Kings managed to win back-to-back games which is the first time they have done this since Decemeber 18th & 20th. The Kings have lost seven of their last ten games and scored an average of just 2.30 goals per game over that span, while allowing 3.10 goals against per game played. The once-mighty Los Angeles defense now ranks just 14th overall with 2.58 goals against per game, while the Flames are 10th overall with 2.52 GA/GP. When it comes to offense the Flames are 12th with 2.83 goals per game, and have scored 2.90 goals per game over their last 10 games. The Kings are having a tough time finding the back of the net and aren’t doing very well at keeping pucks out of their own. The Kings penalty kill unit is struggling, having gone just 73.1% on the penalty kill over their last ten games, the Flames penalty kill has been superb, going 91.3% over their last ten games. This is a huge improvement for Calgary as they are 24th overall on the PK at 78.9% while the Kings are 27th overall at 78.2%.  If the playoffs started today the Flames would make it due to the fact that they currently have the second available Wild Card spot in the Western Conference (63 points in 54 games), the Kings would miss the playoffs. These two clubs met three times this season, the Flames won all three meetings and won four in a row against LA dating back to last season, and are a perfect 4-0 in their last four meetings against the Kings in Los Angeles. This will undoubtedly be an entertaining game to watch, this price on Calgary is sensational and hopefully they come through for us tonight to beat the Kings for a fourth time this season and cash another +EV play for us.
