We snapped our winning streak last night as the Stars/Canucks game stayed under the total in a 2-0 Dallas victory.

The St. Louis Blues have won five in a row (two of which came on the road), and are fourth overall in the League standings with 44 points. St. Louis trails the league-leading Anaheim Ducks by just three points, and the Ducks have two games on the Blues.The Blues are 2nd in the Central Division standing, behind the Blackhawks which have one more point (45 points) but have played one more game than the Blues have. A regulation time victory for St. Louis tonight will propel them into the 1st place position in the Central Division standings. The Kings are struggling right now, the last victory for the Los Angeles Kings came back on December 11th, a 5-3 victory over the Ottawa Senators. Since then, the Kings have lost three in a row, and were outscored 15-7 in those three games. The Blues are one of the highest scoring teams in the NHL, currently ranked 7th overall on offense with 2.94 goals per game, while Los Angeles ranks 18th in scoring with 2.59 goals per game. Martin Brodeur is confirmed to start for the Blues tonight which is likely why we are receiving such great odds on the Blues. Martin has made three appearances with the Blues this season and won 2 of 3 of those games, and currently has a 2.64 GAA and a .904 SV%. Brodeur played great in his last start against Florida, stopping 32 of 34 shots against him, finishing the game with a .941 save percentage.
