Another winning night last night as our play on the Canucks/Flames Over 5.5 Goals cashes easily as 9 goals were scored. Last nights winner brings us to 6.38 units of profit so far this season. With only two games on board tonight we have one play:
New Jersey Devils @ Edmonton Oilers: Devils 2.13 BetOnline
Both the Devils and Oilers are looking for their first win of the season tonight in Edmonton. The Oilers are back on home ice tonight after losing their home opener 5-4 to the Winnipeg Jets on Tuesday. So far this season the Oilers are scoring an average of 3 goals per game, but allowing (an average of) 5.5 Goals per game. In their game against Vancouver on Saturday, Edmonton received 40 penalty minutes, were out-shot 44-23, and couldn’t convert on any of their 3 powerplay chances, and are facing a New Jersey squad who has a 100% PK% so far this season. Tonight will be the first of five road games for the Devils (all 5 games in Canada). They may want to secure a win tonight, as they must travel to Vancouver tomorrow and play a rested Canucks team on zero days rest. Brodeur will want to stay sharp in net as he risks being replaced as starter by Cory Schneider. He is the confirmed starter tonight (Schneider will start tomorrow against his former team) and has a 2.77 GAA and a .885 SV% so far this season. This game could go either way tonight, as both teams need to make a few adjustments to get things rolling smoothly. The Oilers have been anything but consistent so far this season, and are even confusing their own head coach. We will stick with a solid underdog pick tonight on the New Jersey Devils to win, and look to keep our winning streak alive.
