Wow, what a week it has been. We gave you two more winners last night as we went 2-0. That makes us 8-0 since Sunday, and we are officially on an 8 game winning streak! Can we go for 9 straight winners tonight?

Nashville Predators @ Phoenix Coyotes: Over 5 Goals 1.78 BetOnline

The Phoenix Coyotes offense is 5th in the National Hockey League for Goals per Game at 3.31 G/G. Their defense is 23rd in the league for Goals Against per game, at 3.00 GA/G. Out of 13 games played for the Coyotes, 8 games have gone over 5 goals, 3 games have tied 5 goals, and only 2 games have gone under 5 goals. The most recent “under” was against the LA Kings on Tuesday which resulted in a 3-1 win for the Coyotes. The LA Kings managed to out-shoot the Yotes 42-33 in that game but just couldn’t manage to score a few more goals. Five days before that game, the Coyotes and Kings met (on Oct 24) and the Kings won 7-4 (out-shot the Yotes 38-28). Pekka Rinne is on the IR with a hip injury, so the Predators will look to Carter Hutton  as the probable starter tonight. In Hutton’s last outing against the St.Louis Blues (Blues score 3.70 G/G: 2nd for goals in NHL) he allowed 5 goals on 26 shots against, for a .808 SV%. The other option between the pipes for the Preds is Magnus Hellberg, he made an appearance in the St.Louis contest, where he allowed 1 goal on 4 shots against for a .750 SV%. These guys will have to do better in net as they face the Coyotes offense tonight that is 5th in the League for goals scored. The Coyotes manage to average 31.8 Shots/Game, and the Predators allow almost the same amount, at 29.8 S/A. Nashville as a team are allowing 2.58 GA/G, which is 12th overall. The probable starter for the Coyotes is Mike Smith, who has even scored a goal of his own this season on an empty net. He has gone 7-2-2 with a 2.97 GAA and a .912 SV%. The Coyotes are 13th in the league on the powerplay at 20%, and the Predators average 12.5 PIM/G which should give the Coyotes a few opportunities to score. The Predators have a 81.8 PK% which is 14th overall. At the very least we should be able to get a “push” tonight on exactly 5 goals, and hopefully this one can go OVER the total to give us our 9th straight winner in a row!
