The best defensive team in the NHL will meet the third worst offensive team Monday Night in Carolina. The Bruins are 12-6-1 on the season and the Hurricanes are 8-8-4. At home the Canes are 5-3-4 and the Bruins have gone 4-3 on the road. The Bruins allow only 1.84 goals against per game which is the best overall in the League. The Hurricanes allow 2.60 goals against (16th) and are still without Cam Ward and Anton Khudobin (both on injured reserve with lower-body injuries). Justin Peters has stepped in and in 11 games played he has gone 4-6-1 with a 2.35 goals against average and a .921 save percentage.
